About Actom - HVAC systems (formerly Luwa South Africa)

Actom acquired Luwa (South Africa) in 2011, which was established in 1971 and is one of the oldest air-conditioning contractors in South Africa. We specialise in industrial ventilation and air-conditioning and are able to offer the design and installation of these systems. We can offer these services separately or as a combined design - supply package. We presently have two branch offices in South Africa: Pinetown (Kwazulu-Natal) and Brackenfell (Cape), in addition the company can make use of the infrastructure of Actom, which has offices in all major cities throughout South Arica.

In both branches of our company, we employ qualified Air-Conditioning, Design Engineers, Contracts Engineers, Draughtsmen, Manufacturing, Erection and Commissioning Technicians. We are particularly conscious of the need to provide systems with a high value, relative to both installation costs and operation and maintenance expenses. We are therefore in a position to offer you a first class installation at a very competitive price. We have extensive experience in contracting in Africa and have also completed contracts in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland, Mozambique, Madagascar, Malawi, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt and Mauritius.

Our current B3E2 Rating Scorecard is level 3.

We are registered with the CIDB and are certified as a Category ME.
