The control of the most infectious diseases, the fall in the infantile mortality, the progress in diagnosis and surgery and numerous other developments has necessitated highly specialised and efficient health care systems in today's hospitals. To ensure the safe health of doctor’s, nurses and patients, the Hospital HVAC systems today have to provide greater air changes per hour, temperature and humidity control to prevent the spread and growth of pathogenic agents (germs).

Only clean room facilities can fulfill the requirements needed in specialised operating theatres for transplantations, orthopaedic, neuro and heart surgical operations, post operative and intensive care units for immunosuppressant treatment.
